Rules for IAP Networking Group on Social Media

GUIDELINES FOR USE OF THE IAP GROUP:

• 1.Members are advised to exercise caution, diligence and all possible legal compliance's before doing any commercial transaction with anyone who puts out a post about some product or service on this group.
• 2) Please do not post anything, which is not pertaining to agriculture or allied activities. POLITICAL POSTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THIS GROUP WHICH IS MEANT FOR SHARING AND LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER ABOUT AGRICULTURE AND ALLIED ACTIVITIES.
• 3) Please do not post personal pictures (Selfies), family albums or pictures of persons without context to agriculture. We respect privacy of the individuals. The type of pictures approved on IAP group as a rule have minimal focus on human element and are used in the context of conveying some information about some agriculture related activity or event.
• 4) We welcome original posts .We request attribution and/or permissions, as necessary, for posting copyrighted content on IAP group... In case you are sharing content generated by other person(s) or organizations, you should share the original post (Direct tag), so that content owner is aware that his/her post is shared.
• 5) Content should be contemporary and not obsolete.
• 6) This group is intended to be aspirational and positive hence we discourage negative posts or the ones which are critical of technologies like drones, robotics and others
• 7) No defence (military) related sensitive posts are allowed on IAP group
• 8) Without assuming any liability, the administrators (Admins) shall exercise due diligence to the extent practicable in respect of all the contents posted on IAP. Members are advised not to post any content ; which:
  1. a). Offends against good taste or decency
  2. b). Contains criticism of friendly countries
  3. c). Contains attack on religions or communities or visuals or words contemptuous of religious groups or which either promote or result in promoting communal discontent or disharmony
  4. d). Contains anything obscene, defamatory, deliberate, false and suggestive innuendoes and half truths
  5. e). Is likely to encourage or incite violence or contains anything against maintenance of law and order or which promote anti-national attitudes
  6. f). Contains anything amounting to contempt of court or anything affecting the integrity of the Nation
  7. g). Criticizes, maligns or slander any individual in person or certain groups, segments of social, public and moral life of the country
  8. h). Encourage superstition or blind belief
  9. i). Denigrates/objectifies women and/or Children
  10. j). May present/depict/suggest the use of drugs including alcohol, narcotics and tobacco or may sterotype, incite, vilify or perpetuate hatred against or attempt to demean any person or group on the basis of ethnicity, nationality, race, gender, sexual preference, religion, age or physical or mental disability.
  11. k) maybe defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal comments.
  12. l) which is protected by copyright without the permission of the copyright owner.
